Some of you may know last year this time I started working on headstands and I can now say I can do one- now this is the start of my handstand journey😃🤸‍♂️ it’s not all just about getting up in a handstand- there’s a whole load of strengthening exercises you need to do firstly to prevent injury and secondly to get up and then you need to find out how far back you can go to be straight up without arching👉as you can see a lot goes into practicing so I thought to now share this journey with you and maybe some of you might like to join me in learning how to get up in a handstand?🤷‍♀️😃 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇
Please note I have just begun on this journey so it’s not perfect yet and my technique might not be amazing but I am working on it and hope this inspires at least one of you to try something new and believe in yourself and also learn to trust in your own abilities ❤️ you are capable of much more than you think 🤗👍

As a #compoundexercise using #freeweights, the #bentoverrow works many #muscle groups. The main muscle group targeted is your back — #latissimusdorsi and #rhomboids. Pulling the weight higher to your chest works your upper #backmuscles, while pulling the weight closer to your waist works your mid-back muscles

1. Place your left knee on a bench and your right foot on the floor next to it, and lean forward to place your left hand on the bench.

2.  Reach down with your right hand to lift a kettlebell (or dumbell) off the floor, palm facing in. .
3. Keeping your back flat, bend your right elbow and squeeze your shoulder blades together to pull the bell up your side until it reaches your rib cage.
.
4. Slowly lower back to start. That's one rep. Do eight to 10, then repeat on the other side.

Für ein schönes Dekolleté sorgt ein regelmäßiges Training der Brustmuskulatur. Mit dieser Übung straffst du dein Bindegewebe und läßt die Fettpolster schmelzen. Der Schultergürtel, der obere Rücken und die Armmuskulatur arbeiten gleich mit.
Du benötigst das Thera Band bzw. Fitnessband und einen Stuhl.

👉Sitz aufrecht, Schultern tief und plaziere das Band in Höhe deiner Schulterblätter hinter der Stuhllehne
👉Das Band in leichte Vorspannung bringen, Ellbogen auf fast Schulterhöhe anheben.
👉Handflächen zeigen nach oben
👉Gleichzeitig beide Arme gegen den Wiederstand des Bandes 10x nach vorne schieben
👉Ein Arm hält vorne und nur der andere Arm schiebt, 10x dann Armwechsel
👉Am Ende schieben wieder beide Arme

Postup:
~Nejdřív si projdeme a prohlédneme všechny cviky (pustíme si zvuk) °
~nastavíme si interval timer °
~začneme zahřátím (30s zátěž, 10s pauza) °
~protáhneme se podle sebe (návod ve videu na profilu) °
~znovu nastavíme interval timer podle zdatnosti
°
~cvičíme nohy 4 cviky, 4 série 30s/10s (dle zdatnosti), cviky střídáme (dřepy , pauza, výpady do strany, pauza, zanožování, pauza, unožování a opět dřepy... Takhle 4 kola
°
~napijeme se
°
~cvičíme břicho , stejným způsobem jako nohy, interval opět 30s zátěž a 10s odpočinek (pokud je to moc dáme 25s zátěž, 15s odpočinek, zejména u bočního prkna pro Vás bude 30s zátěž asi moc) °
~máme hotovo
°
~můžeme se ještě protáhnout, nebo si udělat znovu cviky na zahřátí, pokud chceme spalovat tuk
°
~pochválíme se
°
~dáme si protein na doplnění energie a růst svalů

Tipy : podle své výkonnosti zvolím variantu cviku a nastavím délku intervalu. 
Pokud chci spalovat tuk a mám čas, zařadím na konec tréninku ještě znovu cviky na zahřátí - stejným způsobem jako před tréninkem

Yesterday was my family reunion bbq at my parents’ home. Pulled pork, brisket, bbq chicken, mac and cheese, potato salad, strawberry shortcake, I mean EVERYTHANG! I smoked a joint to ease my restriction and probably consumed about 2,000 calories yesterday. I don’t feel bad about it but I woke up super hungry and craving all the carbs and fat. It scared me and even though I was tired and feeling bloated I decided that what was done was done and there was no undoing it but I could keep moving forward and stay on track. Today I went SUPER hard, I did a 30 minute @popsugarfitness workout with @ingridsclay and GWORL when I tell you I was pushed to the limit! There were times I wanted to just stop, to give up but yesterday I pushed myself to the limit in some other ways and I felt I needed to match that. I refuse to have an adversarial relationship with food and I also refuse to lose control. Working out at home has allowed my kids to see my commitment to transformation and they are starting to model the behavior, asking can they too work out. It tickles and annoys me (my workouts really are another form of self care and I’d prefer if they’d go sit they asses down and give me some alone time 🤷🏿‍♀️). I am breaking so many internal behaviors, in the last year I have done so many things I didn’t think I could do like let go of an abusive, face humiliation and still survived, lost 70 pounds, doubled my organizational budget and now I am manifesting that courage in my body. I never thought I could do a burpee but I did! Did y’all niggas see them pushups with lateral rows??? I mean I’m a fucking beast! And my babies are seeing that I am capable, resilient and bold. Imma keep going. The confidence and happiness I am feeling is pretty excited.

Although my weekends tend to be pretty active in general, I do have some weekends where I may relax, sit on my butt a lot and over eat. It is when these sorts of weekends occur when I would advise to have a Sunday evening activity or a Monday activity where you get a little sweat on, get the cogs moving again, blood pumping and re energise yourself ready for the new week. .

I am very lucky in that I am able to go to the gym on Monday mornings at the moment so that’s where I start my week. However, when I was working full time this was impossible unless it was at 5am (I am mental for fitness but my sleep is also a priority 😂⁉️).... so I used to go for a Sunday evening jog and I used to teach classes on a Monday evening to ensure I started my week off the way I wanted to 😀👍

Superman! Wonder Woman!

Sometimes we feel like we have to be Superman or Wonder Woman to get it all done while making it look effortless.

Here's the reality of this picture. We had a busy morning with church, Sunday school, and a fellowship luncheon afterwards to kick off the new school year. Once we got home we put on a movie for the kids so Matt and I could have a chance to talk about the upcoming week. After talking we both dozed off - Sunday is a day of rest of course.
.
Matt already had his workout planned and encouraged me to join him rather than skipping a day. Unfortunately the kids had finished the movie. Now what?! Make it work.
.
We made our workout space work for the 2 of us. We had the kids grab a quick snack and asked them to find an activity. They chose to read books in our bathtub (see the little face peeking out in the background) 😂😂😂.
.
It also meant dishes weren't done, the house wasn't perfectly tidy, interruptions happened, phones went off, laundry sat, and things were far from picture perfect and effortless.
.
What we did have was time together as a couple supporting one another, time as parents listening to our kids play and giggle (and argue) in the next room,  time as siblings to play together, and time setting the example that health matters. That sounds pretty perfect to me.
